Recently published figures show that the wildlife population around the world has decreased by around fifty per cent over the last fifty years. Can we do to help protect the wildlife around the world?

In the last decades, scientists have researched about wildlife all over the world and concluded that many animals and other creatures are in the brink of extinction. This problem has many causes and human being can make some actions to preserve wildlife.

In one hand, there are many reasons for this issue. Hunting is one of the major causes of this problem. Although many governments try to control illegal hunting of animals, poachers are active in many countries. In Iran, for example, hundreds of animals were killed every year by illegal hunters. At the same time in many countries governments and local people try to cut trees and this lead to decreased forests. For instance, in Brazil, forests are exterminated to making more farmes. This can change environment and many animals leave their homes. Moreover, there are other reasons for this huge decrease in animals number that governments and scientists must consider them.

On the other hand, if some actions is taken, decrease in wildlife population will control. Media and celebrities have taken some steps to give awareness to people about extinction of animals. Though this is a small pace, it can lead to bigger social activities. Many hunters in all over the world broke down their guns after some of media campaigns. Furthermore, scientists can invent new methods to increase food supply and with this achievements there is no more need to forests for farming.

All in all, decrease in wildlife population was very alarming in last decades. Although this problem has many causes, people are motivated to change in order to protect this animals.
